All in all a disappointment. The food was just average. We had been told how great the Italian food was but certainly wasn/t anywhere near the best we had in Mazatlan.

Friends told us to visit Raggio and to be sure to order the lasagna. When we arrived, there was only one other couple (but that was not unusual since we're early dinner eaters. The place was clean, the waitress was simply great, and the food was out of this world good. The lasagna was probably the best we have had... More

We went on a Monday night and relatively early. We were the only two people there for the most part. The food was delicious and fresh. No actual wine list, but the waitress ( who had excellent English ) was helpful. We both ordered glass of Merlot which we enjoyed. The restaurant was very clean as was the kitchen in... More

We wanted a little break from the Mexican food and boy did we ever get a break. Not only the food, but the ambiance and the service virtually transferred you into a quaint European restaurant with absolutely delicious food. We were a group of 4, 2 adults and 2 17y/o and we started out sharing the Caprese salad and the... More

Thirty friends gathered at Raggio for my 70th birthday. Each person sported a T-shirt which said "Lucky Di is 70". Upon my arrival, I was presented with my T-shirt which declared "I am Lucky Di". As this photo indicates, everyone had a fun evening. The food was superb and the service excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special... More

Last night visited because we wanted a break from our usual Mexican cuisine and thought Italian would give us a nice break. Waitress and service was very good although she appeared to be alone and was serving roughly 10 tables. I ordered the chicken fettuccine and the cook evidently burned the chicken on one side and still cut it up... More

Four of us went to Raggio's in the Golden Zone for dinner. Each person ordered something different - Lasagna, pizza, shrimp fettuccine and carbonara fettuccine. We enjoyed all 4 choices ~ the salad with the lasagna was very nice and if you liked mushrooms there was an abundance in the lasagna, nice flavour and right out of the oven. Both... More

We went and ate at Raggio one evening while staying in Mazatlán after reading many good reviews about it. We were a bit concerned when we arrived to see not a soul inside the restaurant, but went inside and ordered anyway. I got the Spinach Ravioles, and we also ordered a pizza, arugula salad, and the marinara chicken. The atmosphere... More

Found a slice of Italy in Mexico. Very good food.. with nightly specials like wild boar. They have a Pizza oven and make pizza just like I had in Italy. Take a break from tacos and visit this spot if you would like a fast of Italy in Mexico

This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. Fine Italian cuisine, prepared exquisitely before our eyes. Fresh salads, house made dressings, pasta dishes and artisan pizza's made in wood-fired stove. Full bar My favorite is Greek Salad and Spaghetti Parmesan. Soft hip music. Romantic. Very reasonably priced. Excellent service.
