My wife and I enjoyed being pampered and having a leisurely evening for just the 2 of us. Food was great, service was even better, prices are very reasonable. Truly a pleasant and delicious evening for the 2 of us.

I have never received better service and attention than we got from the staff here. Alfredo took care of us on two visits to the restaurant. The food was outstanding and I have never eaten such tender lobster before. The wine list was impressive and very reasonably. I would recommend eating here before venturing into town.

From Didriana who greeted us at the door and escorted us to our table, to Ricardo the sommelier/maitre d', Noe, our waiter and his assistant Jesus all made this evening a special dining experience. From the amuse bouche, through our appetizers, salad, soup, main course and desert the food was superb. When asked to prepare a dish without the customary... More

Bad experience. Mediocre food, service 2nd rate. Choose a 2014 Pinot Noir for Christmas dinner which was served cold in a small glass. Saw others served in appropriate stemware, asked for same told the wine wouldn't taste good in a larger glass because it was young. Staff reluctantly replaced our glasses and when the wine warmed up it was delicious.... More

Every attempt was made to make this a special meal for my wife and I. I had my tip in my front pocket and as the night went on, I continually added to it. Food was excellent as was the service. More than one waiter will serve you, so you'll be well taken care of. I handed the tip to... More

Incredible meal, while watching the sun set into the bay. Unexpected taste combinations, like the avocado, cactus and mozzarella roasted appetizer, even the hibiscus butter, and a complimentary amuse-bouche of steak and pineapple. Just a delight from start to finish.

The chef is a budding star! Now is the time to visit this great restaurant before the world discovers him! My main course was a Tuna that was pan seared and laid atop couscous that was infused with the flavors of Sri Lanka and Mexico.

This last time was our 3rd visit to Las Gaviotas, for we often stay at the Sheraton Buganvilias after our yearly trips to Mexico. Every time I have been here with my family or friends it has been a lovely experience. The food and environment is exquisite, and staff and chefs will cater to your every need. As loyal customers,...
