El Coleguita is a casual outdoor dining spot on the Marina. The restaurant is covered, so you can go there in rainy weather and still have the feel of sitting outside as there are no windows or doors. The food is plentiful and good, but...More

El Coleguita was strongly recommended by the staff at Velas Vallarta, so we took a quick cab ride over. Our driver dropped us at the end of the road and pointed out El Coleguita at the end of that side of the marina. We ran...More

We had a blast in the pouring rain. First, we were automatically brought free tequila shots, salsa and tostadas, as well as a free cup of caldo de cammaron (shrimp soup) with a dumpling in it. All good. We ordered one stew with shellfish in...More

A very friendly place where they receive you not only with shrimp soup but also with tequila shots. The "coleguitas" as they call themselves are super friendly and willing to help. Try their aguachile, it's very good and if you dare, order some of their...More

Service was great, staff was friendly, and the food was good. We ate here because the other restaurants were empty and this one was packed with locals! It was a good choice :)

We liked this pretty well, but it wasn't great. Service was excellent, and they give you a variety of free things, but the food itself is above average, but not amazing.

You need to get there earlier, since they do not stay open late, and there is no problem with wheelchairs, since it is main floor. No reservations as far as I know are taken, first come first serve.

Yes they serve lobster for lunch. It's about a five minute cab ride from the cruise shipping docking. Please read my review first before going...
