This quiet cafe is close to the Basilica de Zapopan. The atmosphere is typical of sitting in an old building with beautiful tile work and interesting things to look at in a cool place. It is a popular place to meet for breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. The food is quite good. The service excellent.
The restaurant is very nice, authentic. I tried Rotolata that the english-speaking chef recommended. It was very tasty, had a lot of meat and cheese in it. Pollo al romero was also very good. The staff is nice, cheerful and helpful.
The resturant seems to be housed in a very old traditional spanish locale. The service was great, food was delicous. Their is music at dinner time. Their breakast menu is also delicous. If a cool drink is what you want their is also a bar onsite.

In La Hostería del Angel, you can find many delicious dishes, such as the Baguettes with lots of veggies and house made meats, Rotolatta, which is a treadless version of the baguettes, on Sundays, you can find lamb and baby pork.
DO NOT RECOMMEND TO GO, but the food is average or bad. Onion soup has no flavor and the lamb shank is too strong, and not too good. We ordered 2, and when we told the waiter one would be sent back because my family didn't like it, they said since we had tasted it, it could not be sent... More
