Not sure why this restaurant is not higher rated, but the locals know it and recommend it ! Have eaten here quite a few times and the meal has been great always. Selection of wine is limited if that is a concern, but ok. Everything else is wonderful. Service excellent. They bring a plate of spicy salsa and taco chips/chicharones... More

We had been walking around the neighborhood, up to the reservoir etc., and came upon this place. It is a lovely building, the courtyard is very nice and soothing with the water features. We had drinks and guacamole and all was excellent. A very good find!

One of us ordered the nogada (140 pesos). It was pretty good, but not as good as the version at El Pegaso in San Miguel. The sauce was overly sweet. The vegetarian ordered potato-stuffed flautas (80 pesos). Not having had these before, we had nothing to compare them to. . . but we left them all on the plate, as... More

Just came back from an excellent meal this last night of a 10 day visit in Guanajuato. Were told by a local this is one of the best restaurants in the city (in a lovely neighborhood), and after our meal of Chile en Nogada and a second one of Enmoladas (mole pablano) i agree.

This restaurant was highly recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. It was very cute, seemed like it was formerly a home, with a charming homey look to it. As soon as they opened for the day (as we were already waiting and eager to eat), they ushered us to a table of our choice - we requested the... More

This place was a marvellous discovery. I went there with some friends, searching for a nice, quiet and affordable restaurant to have lunch. We got a nice surprise! Every dish is substantially prepared and the price is incredibly low. Additionally, the service staff provided passed the test with flying colours.

Came on a Friday evening for dinner and didn't stay because the place was dead quiet, nobody was dining there. Stopped in the next day for lunch, and the place was filled with people, including a tour group, but short-staffed. They threw two menus at us and said that they would be back with the other two, but we waited... More

Ate breakfast and dinner, here, within a span of a few days. They offer a traditional offering of Mexican food, very reasonably priced. The food was tasty and a great value. The waiters were happy to make adjustments to the dishes to fit our desires and friendly and responsive, when called. Unfortunately, we had to call. They were also a... More

This place is at LA PRESA outside the town center. The food is a variety of Mexican dishes from all around the country. The food was plain good. The service was pretty slow, and the prices fair, a little expensive for the kind of food. Will go back only if we´re on the neighborhood. If you´re staying in the otwn... More
