I found a number of vegi dishes at this creperia, prepared with care. Decent selection of beers and mescal. Wonderful location for sitting outdoors, nice workers.

This little cafe is set under a lovely big old tree at the top of Plaza de San Fernando. Perfect place & setting to stop for a drink or snack & watch day to day life in Guanajuato. The food is ok & simple. The main attraction is being able to take in the typical casa's & terraces. We even... More

Beautiful restaurant, good and fresh food. Great café. Great hand made sauces (coriander and chili) Beautiful terrace under a big tree. Fantastic service. Really recommended. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I know the place since 2003 and have been there many times.

We came for lunch and were attracted to the pleasant outdoor seating area, shaded from the mid-day sun by mature trees. It took quite a while to be served. We ordered capuccino and their potatoes which cheese and had planned to try their crepes for dessert. But a man came into the outdoor seating area with three dogs, and led... More

This restaurant is really nice and calm. The food is good but not awesome. If you want to pause your journey for a couple of hours, this is the best place.

If you don't mind having to wait up to an hour for your order this place will be just fine. Otherwise, there are probably better places in the square. There is an old lady giving out orders to the servers, but she doesn't seem to help much around.

Came for a drink and possible food. Ordered cocktails (rum and cokes, and Margarita) we were served a glass of coke with no taste of rum and then finally was served a Margarita in a small glass only half full and loaded with ice.

Entering the Plaza San Fernando, you will be met by a barrage of friendly hosts, ushering you into their mediocre (though beautiful) cafes. Smile and walk past them. Look for the yellow chairs at the back of the plaza. Cafe Bossa Nova is unique for this plaza because it matches it's wonderful ambiance with good food. Seating is outside, under... More

Beautiful garden setting, facing the tiny little square. We found this place listed as vegetarian in Trip Advisor; although it is not a vegetarian café, it has many options! We had fries with melted cheese (yum!) and quiche with mushroom and spinach. Later, some coffee with nutella & banana crepe. Everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly. Definitely...
