This is a tourist city in Mexico. Consuming caffeine and not being used the local bacteria makes it pretty important to have a bathroom handy. They don't have a bathroom!!! Also, the best coffee in the world is just a short walk away. Go to Cafe Tal if you want to good coffee.

It is nice to find a recognizable spot in Guanajuato, Coffee and pastries were as good there as at home in California. Also a good spot to converse with Americans. We received recommendations for restaurants and sites to visit.

There are amazing local Mexican places in Guanajuato, why waste your time and money in an international corporation when you can taste delicious local products??? I can't see the point. This coffee shop has nothing to do in a place like Gto. Along with Subway, KFC etc.

Best location, popular, coffee not American Starbucks varieties as they are franchise owned, no outdoor seating, lovely inside lounge, inferior to San Miguel de Allende location, tables not bused regularly.

Pleasant Starbucks. Had good coffee. Also had the large mugs with Guanajuato on them. My daughter has collected them from all over the world so now she has a new one.

I'm not usually a Starbucks goer and couldn't believe there was one in Guanajuato, but I needed wifi one evening during my visit and went in for some study time. It turns out that it was pretty much the coolest Starbucks I've ever been in. The prices were outrageous by Mexican standards. That aside, I loved the decor, the art... More

Our feet were tired so what better place than a Starbucks across from the Guanajuato main square. It even had a separate Wifi room which allowed us to brag to all of our friends in the USA & home in Puerto Vallarta. The wonderful chocolate donut and Vente Moc

After traveling fairly extensively in Mexico; sidewalk & small sized vendors & even supermarket types of coffee simply do not measure up to Canadian or American coffee. The decor, friendly barristas, & coffee all measure up. However, it's location seems out of place in a traditional local & the prices are exorbitant, example 1/2 lb costs twice the amount as... I stopped at the Starbucks next to the Hotel Boutique 1850 to grab a quick bottle of water. There was a bit of a language barrier since I speak little spanish, but the guy helping me was very nice and helpful.

I enjoyed my favorite spicy chai here, after a mediocre breakfast nearby. Since the baristas are friendly locals, serving up hot drinks with local ingredients, of course you are supporting the local and global economies!
