We had a good lunch here in a beautiful setting close to old town sights. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good meal while sightseeing.

Cafe de Tacuba is one of those restaurants you visit to see and experience. The decor is very old-fashioned, as though it was decorated a few centuries ago by the chief interior decorator of the Catholic Church. It's very popular and you might need to...More

Café Tacuba has been an institution in Mexico City for decades. The places is always crowded and the mariachis make sure to create a constant buzzing vibe. A lot of locals go here. Food is good, but not as breathtaking as the place itself.

Food was very tasty. Appetizer, soup, main dish, dessert and coffee. It is within walking distance from the Zocalo, maybe 20'. Service was good. I had the chicken mole with rice and was delicious.

Nice traditional cafe, you can try old fashioned churros and hot chocolate. Fodd is good, if you are searching for old style traditional mexican dishes. This place is downtown. Nicely decorated.

This is one of the historic restaurants of Mexico City. Founded in 1912, it has been a reference for both locals and visitors ever since. The decoration is very attractive by itself, as it is the building, located few blocks from Mexico City´s main square...More

Be aware of this place. Although the food and cocktails are good, a big warning sign is that they serve tap water. In other words they have little care about your health and well being here. I wouldn't be surprised if their kitchen was dirty...More

I think they perform at night, the best thing to do is to call the restaurant and ask.

Either you'll have to be very very lucky to find a table by the windows, or you'll have to handsomely, and/or very discretely, "tip" the folks at the hosting station. Good luck!
