This place is an old Hacienda (a feudal estate of sorts), hence the name, which means it has a garden with open space and several buildings surrounding it that serve either as the main restaurant or for catering private events. It does not feel like you are in the middle of a busy part of the city and the architecture... More

It was our last night in Mexico City. Do we watch the bull fights or have dinner at Hacienda D Los Morales. So glad we couldn't get tickets. Not sure where to start. The location, the building, the architecture or the wonderful food we had. Walking into the courtyard is a site to be hold. We often imagine ourselves back... More

Hacienda de Los Morales Casper, the Foodie Ghost, goes to Mexico, lindo y querido... Where it looks, touched by heart and soul, like if time hasn't passed, since our times there...45 years back Last week we were invited, by prestigious CEMEX, to Mexico City As every year they were hosting their Construction Awards, granted to the very best, outstanding and... Good restaurant for lunch or dinner in a traditional hacienda inside the city. Good food, reasonably priced with good portions.I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Mexico City.

We had a business lunch again at the restaurant and once again we had a great experience. Very good food and service on an Hacienda surroundings in the middle of Polanco.

Its not hard to imagine this Hacienda 100-150 years ago when it would have presumably have been in the countryside outside of the city. Now its been over run by the ever growing metropolis that is MC. However enter the courtyard and on in to the vast rambling Hacienda itself and its like entering another world, its vast! with many... Large building with many different rooms, all with stylish interiors. Experience that can only be lived in Mexico City.

What an experience! Delicious 5 plate set accompanied by Lime, Tamarind and Mango Margaritas. To take the guessing out of the menu, we let Jose choose sample of the most popular and traditional plates offered. Jose took us thru a delicious set of gusanos, ant eggs with blue tortillas tacos, mole with chicken, two types of chile relleno, one with... More

Had a wonderful meal at this spectacular and lavish hacienda turned restaurant recently and was very impressed. It is a large place w/ many rooms and sections. Lawns and gardens. Dining rooms. I felt transported to another world and was square in Mexico City. Could see the tops of the golden arches in the distance. Sobering. But sober we did... More

During colonial times la Hacienda de los Morales was located on the outskirts of Mexico City, but today it is within its confines, only a short distance from the exclusive hotels, museums and shops of Polanco. This stately mansion, a recipient of numerous awards including the 5 Diamond and the Dirona Awards, and the Executive Chef Alejandro Heredia Resendiz named Mexican Chef of the 20th Century by the Cullinary Academy of France, transports visitors to another era in a refined atmosphere where the hospitality and service make every moment a memorable one. In addition to the international menu with Mexican specialties, there are several Gastronomic Festivals each year with the participation of such outstanding establishments as I Chiostri di Firenze, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, The Lobster Festival Puerto Nuevo Style, and Il Milanese Curioso. This formal restaurant is open except Easter week and official Holidays. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie after 6:00 pm.
