Although this place has an amazing view looking down on the ruins of the Great Pyramid, speakers all around the terrace area were blasting rock music during my breakfast. The food was very good, but the coffee was weak and tasteless.

We had lunch here one afternoon after visiting some museums. The view is spectacular and the food was excellent. We had soup and some light fare. Service was also better than most places we ate at on this trip.

Holy cow this is amazing and this is exactly the view that I was looking for and the vibe that I want for a café. I wish I would've come here for breakfast!

You have a view of the Templo Major and past to the Cathedral and the central square, the service is very good and the food is fine. I had a duck salad with strawberries and brie - unusual but tasty.

We celebrated my birthday at El Mayor restaurant. Seated right in front of a superb view of The Templo Mayor and The Cathedral. The food was quite tasty but a bit scarce and dear but it figures being a very touristic spot. Good service Price a bit over the top. Food: Fair.

All in all this is the perfect place to eat...lunch or dinner. Located atop a bookstore bordering the Templo Mayor complex, this place is popular and often crowded. We didn't have reservations, put our names in for the 40 minute wait, and stood outside in the bar/cafe area. After 15 minutes, a waiter came over and asked if we'd like... More

I have been here several times for work and last time for breakfast with friends. Food is still average with no really good chilaquiles for the 3rd time in a row, it is a pity as it has a great view on the ruins.

So.. after spending a day visiting the sites in mexico, we decided on a sundowner overlooking the temple ruins. Important to note..you enter the bar and restaurant through an elevator located in the downstairs bookstore. Once you get to the roof, decide bar or restaurant. As we went for drinks, naturally we went to the bar. All tables with the... More
