very famous and historic place, a typical Mexican colonial building and decoration, will take you back a in time .. the staff is very friendly , the menu is diverse to entertain every hungry stomach, they serve the best paella (Valencia Style), and they can customize special dish as per your choice.. you can remove/add what you like/dislike from any... It's a tradition to come just to try the clericot, which they claim to have a great version and I can say it's the best one I've ever had. Don't get me wrong, food is amazing and you'll find a lot of traditional Spanish options, but if you go with friends, I recommend the "surtido castellano", which is not in... More

Crowded place, tables are too close among them. Looks like they wanted to place as many people as possible. No wheelchair access even they said they had it when we called by phone to verify. And they don't take reservations, so it's a matter of luck to be promptly seated. Food is passable, don't expect anything great. Overall, low value... More

In my way to el Moro, I passed by this classic Spanish Restaurant. I must admit I was intrige and decided to visit it later on the evening for dinner. I order a paella and was a mistake. They do not use bomba rice and that is a big no no in my book. However, after viewing their horno I... More

First time I visited was close to closing time and the place was fairly empty. Service was passable and the food was acceptable. More recently (November, 2015) I went with a group of friends and it was an entirely different experience. The food seemed better, the service was prompt and attentive, and everyone agreed that it was a great choice... More

Food was not that great for the price. Server kept up selling so we ended up spending a lot more than food was worth. Worst part was when we were done and it was raining real hard. We asked if they'd call a taxi and they said NO!!! I've been traveling to Mexico for years and every restaurant goes out... More

This place was very overpriced, particularly for the low-quality food that they are serving. My tortilla española was runny and the chicken breast that I ordered was clearly a cheap cut- it still had veins/ligaments in it. On the bright side, the wait staff was very attentive.

I wanted to eat a good Paella and, in the end, I found a great quiet place (not so quite so I couldn't have a normal family dinner with a 4 m.o. and a 2 y.o.), great food and, above all: great service along with very good Spanish food. Definitely recommendable.
