Happened upon this cafe when we missed breakfast at the Hampton Inn. The service was excellent and very accommodating to our sub par Spanish skills. Menu is bilingual with a diverse selection. Food was great and very affordable (~75$ for breakfast plate, ~30$ for coffee...More

We wanted a small dinner so went to this smallish Italian/Mexican cafe. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The portions were rather large but good.

Getting to know the neighbourhood, we happened upon the Bertico café. Located on a pedestrian only street it competes with other eateries nearby. Had a great lunch (burgers and a cerveza) and my wife had their special salad. The outdoor patio was crowded with happy...More

This place was alive and vibrant, dinner was authentic and the servers were wonderful. I did not try a desert, but the double Expresso was exceptional. My only regret was having experienced this solo as my travel companions were off on a separate adventure.

Have enjoyed croissants in many countries and have to say that Bertico's is right up at the top - sublime esp with an excellent cappuccino. Breakfast not quite so perfect but good. Several locations including Calle Regina.

Great service, wonderful coffee and good desserts. It looks like they serve a lot of other foods. There's a wide variety on the menu. Very clean! Close to everything right downtown.

Go there if you want a decent Italian coffee... the coffee was the best we found in Mexico City and so we returned. Once we made the mistake of eating there too - very average!
