I saw a recommendation on a facebook page, so I went. I really loved it, the food it's delicious, it's a little expensive for the type of food but it's worth it. The milkshakes are the best, even though I'm lactose intolerante, these milkshakes are made of a Canadian ice cream that combines too good with the other ingredientes. It's... More

Inside an traditional San Angel's home, it's a unique place to eat the best tortas ever, with the most special recipes and ingredients. Milkshakes are also unique with the most uncommon and delicious flavors. Loved to go and sit on a terrace table with a beautiful trendy view of a garden with pet area.

I've been coming to Lola's for 3 years and unfortunately each time I'm left more angry with the service. The food is great but over priced 70 pesos for Elote / 65 for the smallest Mac & Cheese but because it's good I don't mind paying. However the service gets worse and worse. For example....Today's order was easy - 2... More

It is a very nice place but unfortunately the service is terrible, everything we ordered wasn't available so we had to order something else. I tried talking to the personnel and the excuse was that the owner is very strict. I wouldn't come back. There are very good places next door which are much more worth it. The torta de... More

Got here and was really excited about the garden and style of the place, but then the service came and it was terrible. The food was nothing you can't find on a street car; half of the dishes in their menu were not available. The only good thing they have is their home made bread.

The food is bad quality and super expensive. The decoration is pretty but what's the point of that if my food will taste horrible? Just... Don't come here and its sad that this is a touristic place because then that's the imagine Mexico City will get with its food when there are MILLIONS of other GREAT restaurants, don't think this... So I recently went there with a friend and his girlfriend. She likes the place and we were in town, therefore she decided it was a great place for us to eat. She wasn't wrong; I can't speak for my friend, but the hamburger I order was gigantic and delicious (I had to finish it at home). They have this... More

I have been frequenting this place pretty regularly for the last couple of years. I love their french fries and the fresh bread. My favorite torta is the chile relleno. We generally think it's overpriced for what you get, but the place has been consistent and the ingredients are fresh so we keep going back. However, our experience today was... More

Everything about this place is great, it is not the fanciest of places and it even has a hipster look to it but the milkshakes, tortas, and everything is amazing at this place!

I had the croque mosieur and the mac and cheese they were both delicious! The water of the day was jamaica and ginger very refreshing we had to wait for about 10 min for a table but it was worth it! A bit overpriced though...

Neighbourhood Profile
San Angel
San Ángel is known for its artistic vibe and elegant details displayed throughout its streets, antique residences and haciendas where famous actors like Consuelo Velázquez, Capulina and other prominent families used to live and that have now been turned into beautiful galleries, cafés and restaurants. An array of cultural and artistic activities are organized in the neighborhood, but it is on Saturdays when the San Jacinto Plaza and surroundings really shine as artists gather to exhibit a variety of arts and crafts, from paintings to clothing.
