Although the location is good and the place is only OK the food is not awesome, I went there due to a “Restaurants to eat in Mexico” recommendation is really does not worth your money or your time, the place smells weir, the ambience is not good at all, the menus look old and tacky, and the food is not... Hello Paulina, I am so sorry for your bad experience, we will pay more attention on details, like the menu, ambiance, T.V. and weird smells... We will check the duck fat and cooking process as you suggested. The problem about the fish tank, is that the fish are very aggressive and they attack each other but they are totally healthy,... I knew I was on to a good thing as soon as I walked in. It was cool and raining so I asked to be seated inside. The attentive staff showed me in to the main dining room. Nice, traditional Chinese restaurant decor. At the next table. A group of five. From China. Speaking Chinese. Chopsticks in hand, wIth a... More

Food is a little above average to comparable low price Chinese restaurant in Mexico City. Service is good. I have been there twice. I will return knowing food will not be great but will be as expected, good enough.

I don't get why so many recommendations and stars for this place. Some authentic flavors, yes (few); but not worth it for good Asian food. Beijing duck terrible quality (must have been frozen for ages and it had a mild gas flavor) very disappointing :( Worst fried tofu I've ever tried. Everyone in our party (4) felt indigestion. 2 stars... More

Hello, Thank you for your review. We will check out what happened the day you came to the restaurant. Beijing Duck is one of our customers favorite, and we make them everyday because there is a high demand. We will check the raw ducks that we received in those days. People love our Tofu because is house-made and hand-made, sometimes... More

Asian Bay is in a nice bar-and-restaurants-for-foreigners zone. The portions are small and the prices high. The shrimp dumplings were tasty. The fried tofu was totally without flavor, except for the almost raw chopped garlic on top. In sum: a reasonably good but not excellent Chinese meal that you can find elsewhere for 25% of the price. I would go... More

Hi I totally remember you coming to our restaurant. I am so sorry that you feel it is overpriced. If you compare it with the prices of China and United States we are overpriced. The thing is that Mexico has a very little Chinese Community so getting the ingredients and thanks to the Dollar-pesos increasing rate , things are more... More

I love the Condesa neighborhood in DF. This is one of the few restaurants I have tried here and it was very good. Quantity of food was just right for me (was alone). Ordered fried veg rice and mixed vegetables and both dishes were excellent.

One complaint of many expats living in Mexico is the difficulty in finding decent Asian food. If all you know are the so-called Chinese buffets with their sliced hot dogs, French fries, canned corn and the ever-popular Chinese sushi, try Asian Bay and be pleasantly surprised. I've been there twice. First with a friend and we shared wonderful dim sung... More

This is a very nice Chinese restaurant attended by Luis and his family. A lot o Chinese people are always in the restaurant which testify the good flavor and similarity to the original Chinese food. I recommend the wonton soup and the roasted duck. We always have duck every time we go there.
