Right next door to what I consider the best Hampton Inn ever, Garabato's Historic Centro does not disappoint. With a varied menu with something for everyone, you can't go wrong. I love the Poblano cream soup!

Well prepared desserts. Delicious and a good range of choices. It's a pit some options are whole cake and not slices. I suggest for a good coffee and dessert.

Garabatos is located next to my hotel. It has a very nice menu of fresh and healthy food, fast food and local cousine. Even when it is noy a fancy restaurant, food is well prepared and service was very good.

This wonderful, clean place is just what Americans are looking for in Mexico City! The food is excellent, the staff is super friendly and the cookies are not to be missed! I am back for the second day in a row!

This was my meal for my last night while traveling three weeks throuh Central America and it was a major disappoinment. I had their chilaquiles con salsa verde y pollo here, which is one of their "signature dishes." It was almost unedible. The flavor of the salsa verde was overpowering. The tortilla chips too hard and the chicken was almost... More

I went to Garabatos a couple of times for lunch and dinner and it is very good, good service, good food, and just around the corner from Plaza de Armes. More a cafe style but open for dinner at night and they serve alcohol, I had a very good Margarita there. All the usual things, salads, panini, meat, chicken, desserts,... More

Enjoyed this clean and quiet café in our hotel lobby for late night bite when we returned tired from day of touring. Best ice tea & club sandwiches -- and the fresh bakery items are so tempting. English menus and servicers were patient with my limited Spanish. Would recommend

At first instance we doubted to get in because is located at the entrance of the hotel and we typically we don't like to do that. Secondly the ambient looks like a franchise restaurant, but it was completely opposite to the expected. Service was excellent, Esteban was very attentive and friendly. Cecina with chilaquiles are delicious. Chile relleno con queso... More

We ate here on 3 occasions - had a lunch , an afternoon cake and coffee, and an evening meal. So worked our way through a lot of their menu selection. From the street it may appear as only a cake shop with drinks but the food choice is quite expansive. Mostly Mexican style meals that are very satisfying and... More
