It was my third visit to Gotan. Dined here twice in 2015 and told myself to visit again if I ever return to Mexico City. Having an english speaking waiter was a plus point. I had the medium well Arrachera which was a cut near the diaghram/lower belly (googled it), a local beer and their reputable lemon lime pie. The... More

We had a wonderful dinner that started with expanadas and then two entrées. I had the lasagna with a superb bolognese sauce. It also had lots of vegetables. My buddy had a delicious steak cooked medium rare. Even without the chimicurri sauce the flavor was excellent. Small dining room but that was just fine. Great service and the owner was... More

To start, I lived in Buenos Aires for 18 months and I am there twice a year. This restaurant is tiny, a little bit lost and far from real food. Steaks were not good, medium was rather very rare and steaks are cooked on direct flame. "Provoleta" was fried on oil instead of being marked by the grill. I am... More

Down a side street, a little hard to find. Small. Cool interior. Waiter spoke good English. Steaks were undercooked by what we expected with American standards for steak cooking but we decided not to send them back, since they tasted good anyway.

My husband had their tuna special and I had their steak. Both meals were done to perfection. A real treat. While we do speak some Spanish, it was very helpful that the waiter spoke English. The restaurant was clean and the decor pleasing. Bathrooms were spotless. We rated this the best meal of our holiday.

We visited this restaurant after reading a ton of good reviews. We obviously had high expectations - all of which were shattered. Going to an Argentinian restaurant we expected to be able to get steak with some good sides. Steak are only sold in pre-made packages which include salad and potatoes. The potatoes could not be swapped for other sides,... More

Friendly and attentive service. Food plated elegantly. If you are a fan of sweet and savory, I recommend trying the filet mignon.

Glad we finally made it to this restaurant on our last evening in Mexico City, after reading great reviews. Great food and service by waiter Eduardo! A little bit more expensive but we figured it was worth it, for a nice ending to our stay.

The dining room is small and clean, the service is good and was available in English at the time of my visit. The appetizers are delicious as well as the steaks. It wasn't a typical thick cut steak but it was tasty none the less. I would recommend this place for sure.

Nice restaurant near the Hilton Reforma in Mexico City. Server was able to speak to us in English. Everything we ordered was yummy, good presentation too. Steaks a must have here. Will definitely go back if in Mexico City.
