Great food. They use a lot of Mexican ingredients using french technique. Dinner is always a delight, and the service is impressive. This is definitely one of my top favorite places in Mexico City.

Don't expect a trendy crowd. Instead, people that want to enjoy food. Wine menu is exceptional. Food, amazing

I have tried several of the dishes and thankfully, to date, have always had a good meal. The pasta with salmon is to die for! My group started the evening off with a martini and it was made very well. Service good, tables good and just around the corner of my house. Couldn't ask for more!

Excellent food rarely found in Mexico, and far better than other fancy restaurants in Polanco. We will defenitely return to this restaurant.

Hidden in a small commercial area in the Lomas this place is really fabulous. I had the Shrimp with Morrell mushrooms (wild in season) in a cream sauce and just loved every bite. 2nd time I've come here and it has always been a wonderful experience.

Generally a good restaurant, more of a smart place to get together with friends for a treat. Loads of business lunches. Been several times and only once had a bad meal when I ordered something too greasy......worth a visit. Salmon pasta is excellent, always full at lunch time so nice ambiance.

The food was very good. When I think of the pasta with salmon, my mouth waters! My husband really enjoyed his onion soup. It has a very relaxing, quiet ambience and it is situated in a nice neighborhood. The only thing that needs to be improved is the waitstaff. The waiter was young and never around when you needed him.

The atmosphere is lacking. The ambiance is not hip at all, lots of 60 year old. The best is the food, because the decor and the ambiance are a disaster. The lights are always very strong, it is one of the worst lightings I've seen in a restaurant. It's sad that it has the potential to be a 5 star... More

Food portions are small but just enough to make you fly out of your seat. The food is delicious although the ambiance is not hip at all... tons of 60 year olds, but you won't notice once you start eating!

Bakea is a nice neighborhood secret. People go here to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. It is a local place, not promoted to tourists or those who do not know what is best. It is often full and it is a place to go to enjoy food and subtle decor and great service. It is not a see and be seen... More
