This restaurant is a real traditional place in Mexico City. They have better choices on the menu to knowles the Mexican food. And the live music is magical. Go!!

The restaurant isn't bad at all, it is very big and cozy. Mexican food is good but they also have some italian food that you shouldn't try. It is located in a very quite street close to the city Centre so it is good to...More

Went here on the back of the LP recommendation, but wish we hadn't bothered. The room was rather seedy with no atmosphere (very few diners) and the piano player churned out ancient songs like 'Tie a Yellow Ribbon'.....please!!!!! The waiters looked bored and just seemed...More

Live here, but has never been. Was great. For tourists, would be a great walk over from the zocalo. Plaza Santo Domingo is the next in importance after the Zocalo. Being the oldest restaurant in the city, I always wanted to try it. Great food...More

I had never need to make a reservation, I just avoided the crowded hours (weekends around 14:30 to 17:30) but I guess it is wiser to phone them to make a reservation. Provecho!
