This is an emblematic restaurant located in the south of the city. It serves mexican food of the highest level. The place is beautiful and the food is really good.

My wife and I were in Mexico City on a combined trip: business and pleasure. We went to the San Angel area, first to browse around the shops at Bazaar Sabado, and then went for lunch at San Angel Inn. This is a dream of a restaurant where the food is outstanding, and the service really efficient and very courteous.... More

The San Angel Inn is a beautiful building in a historic area of Mexico, a magical place when in the south of Mexico. Service is good and food although not cutting edge is ok. It is one of the must visits in the city full of history and tradition.

Actual visit was on January 3, 2016. The place is absolutely gorgeous; the food exceptionally good; the service, perfect. What more can you ask for?

The garden is gorgeous and has a wonderful atmosphere. It is a real treat to eat outside in such a beautiful place. Unfortunately, the food is pretty average and the wines really pitiful. Been there twice. We tried different dishes and wines: the results were unfortunately consistent. I wish they could find a cook and a sommelier having the talent... More

This amazing 17th century "Hacienda" has been adapted into a fine restaurant, which recently also opened for breakfast in the outdoor terrance 'La Veranda" . It is outside in a a charming patio, with a water fountain. The place is highly appreciated, and the prices are equally high. The menu is mainly Mexican food, but be careful when asked if... More

This is my third visit and I'm never disappointed. The hacienda structure is spectacular and outstanding. Will bring you back to colonial Mexico with all its grandeur. Food and service is just outstanding. Great place for business or family dining. On the expensive but worth every pesos. You will not be disappointed.

Neighbourhood Profile
San Angel
San Ángel is known for its artistic vibe and elegant details displayed throughout its streets, antique residences and haciendas where famous actors like Consuelo Velázquez, Capulina and other prominent families used to live and that have now been turned into beautiful galleries, cafés and restaurants. An array of cultural and artistic activities are organized in the neighborhood, but it is on Saturdays when the San Jacinto Plaza and surroundings really shine as artists gather to exhibit a variety of arts and crafts, from paintings to clothing.
