I've been to Lampuga on two or three occasions, it's an attractive, modern but warm, open space with a nice wine list and very good menu - especially their seafood dishes. In particular I recommend the aguachile!

We were really pleased with our late Sunday afternoon lunch. The place was packed - Mexican family Sunday lunch time - but service was fast, attentive, and consistent. We have to give a shoutout to Daniel our server. Well done!!! The ceviche was hearty and good. We split an arugula salad - fantastic and the dressing was perfect (it did... More

This is an attractive seafood restaurant in a nice part of Condesa, the hip neighborhood in Mexico City. The evening that I went, there was nothing particularly wrong with the food but it was disappointing in general. The shrimp tacos had a sauce that was too sweet; the fideua was overcooked; and the sea bass was good but not outstanding.... More

We just wanted a light lunch. Well, sauteed trout with fennel, green apple slices, and pureed potato...so good! Great flan, nice patio dining, totally attentive staff. Excellent arugala salad. They divided our entree in two as we requested with no problem.

Good selection of wines and list of drinks. Very good service. The food is good. I ate a starter of octopus and although the taste was very good, the texture was not perfect. The hamburguer is average. The place is clean.

We read about this restaurant in our lonely planet book, what a great discovery. Our first impression upon arrival was "we were under dressed", this is a very upmarket restaurant, but don't let this deter you. We were impressed and appreciated the English written menu, with a wonderful selection of delicious sounding dishes - seafood galore! We feasted on fish... More

We walked around the corner from our B&B to Lampuga Condesa, which specialises in seafood, but they had plenty of alternatives for us vegetarians. We had grilled vegetables in terrayaki, grilled asparagus, artichokes (which were a bit of a let down – thought they would be artichoke hearts, not whole, so very chewy – didn’t eat outer bits), and sautéed... head here for lunch and dinner with friends or for business. It's mostly seafood with Italian touches and a competent staff.

I had lunch at La Lampuga on a Sunday, it was packed. I had the ceviche and some fish tacos . The ceviche was excellent, but I can't say that I enjoyed the fish tacos. Maybe its just my taste buds because I'd heard many good things about this restaurant. However, the service was excellent, I felt that they were... More
