One of my favorite watering holes in Oaxaca. Cool crowd, both locals and tourists. Great beverage/food menu with expansive beer options form local breweries and Mezcal selections. I could stay here all day on the terrace just enjoying my cocktails, food, and losing my thoughts...in the Oaxacan breeze, but I was with family. I'll definitely return.More

Such a cute but very chill place. I did the mezcal tasting and loved it. I did not have a chance to sit on the roof and sip as it was quite busy, but I’ll definitely return.

This is a really cool restaurant. The terrace is large and very nice for food and drinks. We had basics like guacamole, tlayudas (which were great), beers and mezcal drinks. It was a little cool the night we were there and they brought blankets to...make us comfortable. Great little place!More

I’ve been diving into artisanal mezcal for over 5 years now, but just recently discovered Mezcalerita on the advice of a Oaxacan friend. A great suggestion! There is a huge selection of artisanal mezcals, including many under their own brand. Many agaves I’d never seen...before, so it was a great learn8ng experience, also.More

La Mezcalerita is the place I go when I want a drink without any fuss in Oaxaca. They have one of the best craft beer and mezcal selections in town and a lovely terraza for an evening in an environment conducive to conversation.

Nice terrace and a good location. The place was not full, they had at least 4 waiters on the floor and it was impossible to get them to attend us. Especially dissapointed with a young lady (waitress) who thought it was far more important to...continue chatting with her friends while we were trying to call her from 2 m away....They also forgot My boyfriend's drink TWICE. There are better places for drinks on a terrace on Oaxaca.More

There's a rooftop bar with a great selection of craft beers (over 50). We came twice, and each tried a couple of beers each time. Best bar we found in Mexico

If this bar was in the U.S., it would definitely be considered a hipster bar. Not in a negative connotation, but in that they cater to a young crowd with Mezcal and expensive regional beers and from all over Mexico. One Oaxacan specialty that I...haven't seen mentioned much is the Margarita de Chapulines. Not everyone's bag, but it is definitely memorable. The service is ok, but the place is pretty small and fills up quickly, so get there early if you're bringing a group.More

A fresh idea in Oaxaca City. An impressive line up of Mexican craft beers in a cool setting. They are new and still have a few wrinkles to iron out but had a great time there!

I have had two very disappointing experiences here. Overall the food and drink is too expensive for what it is and the quality is poor. On our first visit, they gave us the wrong drink and would not exchange it when it was determined it...was the wrong one. On our second visit (which we foolishly made in an attempt to try a specialty beer we could only find at that restaurant, which they were of course out of), we ordered the mezcal margarita which was absolutely tiny, had a negligible amount of alcohol in it, and poor flavor. To top it all off, the waitstaff on the patio is routinely inattentive and not particularly friendly. We will not be returning here and suggest you consider other options.More
