Cafe Cofetarika is a great casual spot with outdoor seating. Went there in July for brunch. Dripped coffee is fresh and made at the table. We had Chilaquiles (delicious), and they have a small and large portion which was great for my husband and I. Highly recommend to go here for good food and coffee.

Cofetarika has closed in this location. Berlina, which last year was opposite Santo Domingo and the Regional Museum, has moved into the space. We haven't eaten there yet, so no review forth coming for Berlina.

I was so terribly saddened by my visit here. I did have fair coffee but could not get more than a day old muffin which was overpriced to boot. Go elsewhere as there are great bakeries around.

I visited this little gem with my family including our little baby girl. It's a bit difficult to get the stroller to the first floor but the coffee is worth the effort. The service was excellent as the staff made us feel welcome.

A hidden upper balcony overlooking a patio that is a grate place to have a coffee and a desert or just a beer.

Multiple visits. Most coffee in Oaxaca is espresso based. I like filtered coffee made by hand, pour over or "dripper" as it's called here. The woman who makes it knows coffee. She is very friendly. Coffees come from Oaxaca. Her pour over technique is so good that the individual flavors of each coffee come through. It is sweet and smooth,... More

We came to this place due to all the reviews about the coffee. To start with we loved the setting - the outdoor seating on the balcony was great. Coffee was good but not the best I've had. The cappuccino and the macchiato came out exactly the same which was slightly disappointing (way too milky for a macchiato). All three... More

I read a lot of rave reviews about coffee shops in Oaxaca and found some of them a little over-hyped but Cofetarika is great! It's a bit tricky to spot because it's upstairs inside a complex with a couple of other shops but the fact that it's tucked away makes it even better. Quiet, peaceful, with a simple menu, friendly... Really like this place. Go there for the coffee, to work, to look at the sky. Had chemex style coffee every time. It's amazing.
