Great food with amazing atmosphere. Very cheap and not touristy as other places. If you're looking to experience local Mexican seafood, this is the place to be.

We visited this place twice in one week. The seafood was really fresh and delicious. The price was much better than the hotel zone. I wish I could have those oysters everyday!

Good place for seafood lovers, good flavor, fast service and good variety of dishes. I've known this restaurant for its fresh seafood which doesn't disappoint. I love the traditional taste and also the variety of local beers you can enjoy with your meal. I was a little hesitant to rate it 3 stars, food was very good but the reason... More

Very pleawant place in the Mercado 28. Shop around and then have a nice meal in this typical mexican restaurant. All varieties of sea food all in four different configurations: fried, breaded, with garlic, with Ajillo ( kind of chile). A tequila tradicional w/sangrita followed by a chellada (beer on lemon juice on the rocks). Prices cheap and good service.... More

This restaurant was recommended to us from a local and what a treat it was. We had lunch and it was delicious. On that day they were celebrating their 40th anniversary and we were each given a t-shirt. We were a party of 4 and all our meals were delicious, shrimp, fish, and other seafood. Very nice location in Market... More

The restaurant was spot on. Very fresh, and not very expensive. Had the oysters and crab claws first, and then ordered the ceviche and a combination place of garlic fish and shrimp. Very good food, and definitely beats going to the overrated and over priced restaurants that lack flavor such as crab house and Lorenzo's. If you want to get... More

My friend had fried shrimp and I had garlic conch which was outstanding. The steamed veggies included and the Spanish rice were all just a bit bland but who cares when you have such wonderful conch?! Prices were very reasonable and most of the customers were locals and they know a good thing. Our supper for two was $30 American... More

We found this by mistake. I had the best coconut shrimp. Margarita is the best in Cancun. I give it 5 stars because it has it all. Fun waiters,l great food, and wonderful music of all kinds. We will go back here

You go for the folklore. You will feel that this is Yucatan, Mexico. It is not Monterrey or Mexico City, you feel the difference. You are in the middle of a market, they sell sea shells and sarapes and handicrafts all around you, and many native women are dressed in their colorful clothes. You hear one marimba band playing on... More

Located in the heart of Mercado 28 - the challenge is finding the right restaurant. There are a few rest in the market and eager folks trying to steer to their own venues. Visited here 4 times in the last 3 months. Each time the sea food was fresh and delicious. Service is excellent and the drinks are well made.... More
