Great atmosphere and worth the visit. My fish was fantastic but the grouper was over cooked. The Mayan coffee was great and fun to watch!

We were looking forward to eating here on a number of occasions this holiday, having enjoyed it some 3 years ago. The atmosphere and friendly service were as we remembered, but the standard of food was not. My steak was virtually inedible, with over 50%...More

This restaurant has a hidden garden with nice furniture, lights and very nice atmosphere. Shame on us we didn't take pictures. The service was superb! They treated us as super guests, guiding us on the food choice. We took "pescado" the fish of the day....More

Went to La Habichuela because our kids wanted to try it again, it has been two years since our last visit. You are greeted nicely at the door. Our Waiter Alfred was great! All his recommendations were spot on. Will be returning here!

So the first impression of the place is that of an expensive, just-for-tourists, over-the-top fake experience. Certainly, the decor is meant to provide a Mayan atmosphere, and my expectations for the food were low. Imagine my surprise when my entree, squid stuffed with lobster, proved...More
