Although one's first impression is that this place looks like a typical tourist tequila trap, we had a very tasty and pleasant meal experience. The ceviche was excellent, followed by nice baked fish and fajitas.

My wife and i were in search of a delicious lobster dinner and we hit the jackpot. La Mission is a cozy, fairly large open air restaurant just off the main drag in down town San Miguel. They typically have live, culturally appropriate music ranging...More

Great service, great food, and nice atmosphere! Would definitely recommend and go back. Reasonable prices, and had fun musicians walking around adding to atmosphere.

We found La Mission years ago when looking for a bit more local flavor than the tourist stops on the strip in Cozumel. Its only a few steps off on a side street but so much more like Mexico. The staff is very friendly service...More

Excellent Mexican food in a lush, tropical environment. Been there twice now, and each time the meal was delicious and service was friendly. I can understand why they've been in business for so long...yum.

Its unfortunate this place is so highly rated (likely because its right off the strip and littered with cruise people and ferry takers). The food was mediocre at best, service was awful, and its was very expensive compared to MUCH better restaurants elsewhere on the...More
