We have never been treated to a more gracious host than Ray, or a warmer welcome! We enjoyed our meal at El Moro very much - and the mango margarita, oh-so-good. And then, after dinner, Ray brought us Xtabentun liqueur to sip on. We left feeling like special guests and are so happy we had the opportunity to visit this... More

Solid seafood and extremely nice people running this place. It is a bit off the beaten path, but worth the effort to find. Don't expect white tablecloths. Expect a casual pleasant meal. Oh, and save room for the flan!

We come to El Moro every year. This trip we visited the restaurant twice. The food is excellent as is the atmosphere. The owner shows a lot of pride in his establishment.

I was staying at a Cozumel dive resort and a couple of the divers invited my friend and I to jon them at El Moro. The restaurant is run by a family - the grandson is the current generation. The owner greeted my dive friends like long lost family - big hugs were exchanged and these guys only come once... More

Great staff. Great food! A definite win/win. Recommended for Mexican food! The view from the balcony was beautiful. We arrived around four pm so no wait and had our choice of seating.
