We ate at El Moro 2 times. Food was great and the owner delightful. Best lime soup on the island. Would go back again.

Family owned. Historic family recipes, Wonderful welcome....delicious food. Try the Papa...something Moro. Grouper poached in a sauce with mild cheese. Try the Filet Cuban style. Looking for "back in America" food? Try the Shish Kabab (sp).

Rey treated us like family! The food was fantastic, so we all (9) came back the next day. I especially liked the Zocarias, and the Coconut ice cream.

El Moro is one of our go to places in Cozumel. The food is excellent and plentiful, the staff are friendly and very attentive. We went to this casual busy restaurant twice. The service is friendly and attentive, although on our second visit they were short staffed, especially for a Friday night. The Sunday night special was pork-- roasted to an incredible stage of tenderness. Friday night the shrimp were enormous. I ordered them grilled and got six huge succulent butterflied shrimp.

We were staying at an all-inclusive resort, but the food was lacking so we were anxious to get some good Mexican food. El Moro was all we could have asked for and more! It was New Year's Eve and we were a... More

If you want an experience and outstanding food served by wonderful people this place cant be beat, if you are in a hurry to eat - suggest coming early or later in the evening. You will need to take a Cab - too... More
