We have dined at La Perlita five times In three years. Fresh fish served by the English speaking waiter can make a great meal. More often would be struggling to communicate with the other two waiters that need a lot of coaching. The only restroom...More

This is our “go to” place for fish. The location is far from the tourist center but it is worth the trip if you are looking for great value. Pick a cool evening to visit as it can get warm in this little pearl in...More

Had a group of 6. 2 kids and 4 adults. Everything we had was amazing. Red snapper, lobster, the kids meals were gobbled down and the desserts were quickly devoured also. Very reasonably priced and like others have mentioned the place is not a fancy...More

We have been many times to La Perlita (as it is close to the hotel where we always stay - the Casita de Maya) and we have never been disappointed. They are known for their Lion Fish (Pez de Leon) and it was a bit...More

We were told that this restaurant has great Lobster on Monday nights. We were not disappointed. It was delicious and well presented. Monday nights are 2for 1 special for Lobster, but it’s best to call ahead, as sometimes they didn’t catch any for that day.

Have been here several times and recently took another couple with us for lion fish. First of all, no lion fish. Fine, not the end of the world. We figure out something else to eat and all place our orders. I ordered the stuffed fish....More

Another great local restaurant, also off the beaten path. Very inexpensive and warm, excellent service. I had fresh red snapper that was special. Lion fish is often on the menu, although I have not tried it. I rate it just slightly second to El Moro,...More

Mark, Sorry, I don't know if the restaurant is dog friendly. But my guess is they might be. As you know, dogs are everywhere in San Miguel! Since you are local, give them a call. (987) 869-8343
