The first night my family was at the island, we went to Bally Hoo's. This is a wonderful restaurant with outdoor seating. My family got the large margarita and it was definitely LARGE! It's huge and big enough to share with the whole family. The shrimp ceviche was absolutely delicious, and highly recommended!

We really liked this place. The location is so much fun. The ceviche was among the best. Good cold beer as well.

Decent place to watch the sunset with a cocktail but literally the WORST margarita I've ever had. Couldn't finish it even after adding Sprite.

After countless trips to Riveria Maya, we finally made a day trip to the island. I had read about Bally Hoo here on TripAdvisor and other forums. The atmosphere is awesome, I loved watching the fishing boats. The food not so much, it was ok nothing spectacular, wait staff not very friendly.

Delicious fresh food in a great location. Convenient that they accept credit cards. Very friendly service. The margaritas are HUGE and great tasting. Highly recommend the garlic fish filet and especially the octopus ceviche. Great views from where you sit.

We had lunch here, it was fun, service was fast, drinks were great, food was worth it. It takes patience and a keen eye or a guide to find this place, it really is behind a gas station, once there though it is unique.

Thank Mike H
