For an experience of true local fare, please take time to visit this little spot! Wonderful value and great service. The food is super tasty and there is quite a variety on the menu! Make sure to drop in and have the Poc Chuc!

Well, when I travel I like local food and this place was our breakfast stop for 5 days after we found it. This is far better than the number 1 voted place on trip, but here they don't tell you to vote for the restaurant. As with all places taste buds count and the four of us voted this as... More

This was our second year stopping into this place. The first year I forgot the name of it and ...where it was located but, we were very happy to find it again this year! It's a small place a block off of Hildago on a corner. Our server was friendly and attentive. My husband could bearly finish his chicken fajitas... More

We had eaten here once before and read many good reviews so decided to bring our family there. On a rainy day the restaurant was empty so the waiter pulled 6 chairs and 2 tables together. We ordered the seafood soup and bean soup to share and I got the Huevos Moutulenos (for dinner) and cook was nice enough to... More

We were here on a recent trip to Isla. We were excited to try this place, especially because we love authentic Mexican/Yucatecan food. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. My husband had the poc chuc, their namesake dish and a Yucatecan specialty, except the only thing it had in common with poc chuc was that it was pork and even the... More

A small, authentic, and inexpensive spot. The service is great and the food is wonderful. Try the ceviche and the pork. Both are perfect.

1 block over from Hidalgo, great food, really nice owner. 3 tacos for 30 pesos (~$2.50) total. We ate there twice and enjoyed everything we tried.

Being a Cancun local, one the biggest complaints I hear from tourists when visiting the area is that hotel food is not the typical Mexican food they were hoping to savor. Sometimes, you need to get out into the city to get authentic food. While in Isla Mujeres, my husband and I stopped into this little food place and left... More

It is a small place, , visited mostly by non-gringos, the food was very good. Lobster kabobs, great calamari, a really good seafood selection. My daughter enjoyed the sandwiches. We liked it so much, we ate here three out of the four nights we were in Isla.

Poc Chuc is the best of 'both worlds' - Great Food + Reasonable Prices. When on ISLA, we always make it a point to visit Poc Chuc at least 1x. We are never disappointed. Oh, and their refrigerator does an outstanding job of keeping the beer icy cold.
