4 people - all the food was great. I had grouper in the green sauce , wife and one other had the pork chops, other - don't remember. But excellent food and looked like a lot of locals eat here too.

We were told the fish here is local and fresh. Our info was correct. We were served by Fredy himself and the food options and portions were perfect.

Fredy's does Mexican best. The dishes are simple yet bursting with flavour. Fredy is a character and will offer comedic entertainment if you chat him up! Most popular dish in our family is the mixed plate! Only complaint...their tortilla chips are made of flour (not corn so not gluten free) and I was told by the waitor that the lime... More

My gf and I dined here because Lola's across the street was overwhelmed. Big mistake. We sat down and oredered 2 beers which were promptly served. Only one other couple was dining there. Now I know why. In all fairness, the guy in the couple dining next to us seemed to be enjoying the massive pork chop on his plate... More

Everyone has probably heard about Fredy's. He's been in this location for over 20 years. He started out with a store front, a few tables, and a barbecue grill out front. Twenty-one years later, and you have to wait to get seated...and you are happy to wait. Best Pork Chops EVER. The grilled shrimp is also fabulous. I have never... More

Enjoyed a huge, thick and very tender pork chop at Fredy's. Also tried black grouper in a white wine sauce. Glad we went a little early because his tables quickly filled up.

Went there our last night on the island and I liked the grouper in green sauce. The taquitos my wife had were bland and had chicken in them. The beef on the mexican plate was good but stand alone. Not quite what we are used to in states.

Grouper was in no way anything other than Basa or Tilapia. Mushy and expensive. Never going back.. Been going there on and off for over 15 yrs. Done.....

A must stop. Great food. Hands on service by Fredy. We really enjoyed our meal, everything was outstanding. Would have gave it five stars except the oil for our tomatoes and cucumber salad was spoiled. Now fredy fixed it a.s.a.p but it's something that just shouldn't happen. With that said we will be back, it was enjoyable and the location... More

We were told this would be a nice place to dine by our waiter on the beach and it was a great call. My wife had their famous pork chop and all the great reviews were spot on. Not something you'd expect to have in Mexico but top quality. I did a kabob of sorts and the chicken was melt... More
