We had brunch here on our daytrip to Isla Mujeres. It was such an attractive little place away from the craziness of the main street and closer to the beach. The young men serving us were pleasant and helpful and kept my coffee cup topped up without being asked. The cazuelas (cross between an omelette and a souffle) were delicious... More

We started two mornings with the cazuela creation- part omelette part quiche. Sauteed vegetables (and more), add eggs and bake. Small cozy corner restaurant with a few tables outside. Friendly service, good coffee. Set me up for the day!

I'd give anything to either visit Isla again so I can consume a plate of "crepa amanacer" aka the best crepe with ham and asparagus and cheese or hopefully figure out how to make it myself or they give me the recipe lol. Kevin was our server both times and made sure our visit was awesome. Awesome breakfast and coffee,... More

This place was top on my list after reading Trip Advisor reviews and other random blog posts about their house specialty - a mix between baked egg casserole and soufflé. I love eggs and I love cheese so I knew this place would satisfy me! There is a small patio for outdoor seating but we ended up sitting inside to... More

Really enjoyed the banana milk- so much so we tried to find some in the local small grocery shop, haha. Everyone in my party was happy with their meal. Would certainly go again. Only suggestion is offering lattes would be an extra bonus over serving drip coffee alone. ( although was hot and served with cream, which was greatly appreciated)

We went to La Cazuela for breakfast. The ambiance has character and is colorful. The owner seemed a bit nervous and not desirous to please the clients. I ordered the dish after which the place is named: la cazuela. Eggs baked in a cast iron pan with Gouda cheese and tomato sauce. Eggs were running and I doubt the cheese... More

My husband and I ate here and it took 20 minutes to order a beverage. We should have known the service would be bad at that point but stayed for almost 2 hours to order breakfast and get the check. Other people were looking at the menu for prices so they could pay and leave. The food was pretty good,... More

We had eaten here a few years back in the old location, and I remember it being fantastic. We came here midweek for breakfast, and we were one of two tables that morning. It's a small place with tables placed too close for comfort. The waiter was nice enough, but got our simple order mixed up. We were the first... More

This was our 3rd and 4th visit to Cazuela's and we can't say enough. The cazuela dishes are awesome, the crepes are awesome, and the service is even better. For a really unique breakfast on the island, this is the place. There is usually a cool breeze blowing from the ocean just a block or so away and is covered... More

Cazuelas are a breakfast in a bowl, using cheese, eggs and vegetables in different combinations. What a treat. We've been there before, enjoyed it again this time, will come again!
