Does not really offer vegan options--even the bread contains milk. Possible to get tortillas instead of bread, but then you can't enjoy the yummy jam. I ordered the tofu breakfast, but tofu was not available. So my hubby and I both had to get the...veggie breakfast which was very good. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Does not accept credit cards.More

Cosy wee spot off the main drag which seems to be family run. Finally we found a chill restaurant, great breakfast, reasonably priced, lovely staff, and great atmosphere. No pressure from anyone trying to persuade you to come in, and no loud music or noise....We had BLTs and fruit plates with fresh orange juice and iced lemonade. Perfect start to the day. Definitely try it if you’re out for breakfast and want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the restaurant street.More

We had friends recommend this place and we were so glad that we tried it (twice). The food is fresh, the owner and everyone working there created a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It's a wonderful location that felt away from the hustle. We appreciated all of...the options and the prix fixe menu. It was fun to watch the cook in the open kitchen. Everything was excellent, the homemade bread with delicious homemade jams, yummy bacon, great coffee.More

Great cafe! We are here every day except Wednesday (closed on Wednesday) and we stayed in one of their rooms. I loved the Swedish muesli and ate it with the local honey. My husband enjoyed the bacon. The owners and employees are kind and courteous...and Mindy the cat will greet you with a meow! If you’re craving something something different than Roosters, head through the alley and check out this little gem. Or, check out the website and contact Madjid about booking one of the little rooms.More

We had a wonderful simple breakfast at Elements of the Island. It was exactly what we were looking for - their bread is amazing! Very well priced and just a cool little place to have a relaxing meal. We will definitely be back!

Spent some time trying to find it (there aren't many street signs in Isla) and then humorously stumbled upon it right at the back entrance to our hotel. The server was warm as was the food. Everything was homemade, very tasty and reasonably priced.. A...really terrific little place to enjoy breakfast!More

We had breakfast here on our final morning and I only regret not discovering this place earlier. The service was outstanding and the seating was on the front sidewalk but completely shared with a good breeze to keep it comfortable. The breakfast included coffee, juice,...delicious bread with homemade jam, fruit and the main course for less than $7 per person. I had the omelet and it was truly delicious. I highly recommend this place.More

Very good coffee, amazing food with a very expansive menu and the sweetest staff. It is also extremely affordable, exceptionally for El Centro. We ordered two main dishes, two speciality coffees and a fruit platter all for less the $20.00 (US).

Very nice, small restaurant, with a big upside. Great, healthy food, at a more than reasonable price. On a quiet backstreet, very nice staff.

The menu had a nice variety with delicious, affordable food. Their fresh bread with homemade jam was a favorite along with fresh squeezed orange juice. Portions were ample. We ate here 5 out of 7 days! The service was excellent and food came out quickly...so we could get to the beach in good time.More

We've been vacationing in Isla Mujeres since 2015 (we even got engaged here) and this is one of THE best local spots on the island. We've never stayed in the hotel; we just go to breakfast here. I haven't felt like I've had a truly...European breakfast outside of Europe until I came here. On point and delicious.More
