Always have to visit Soggy's! My dad was with us for his first time on the Island and for us, Lobster Taco's are great reason for a visit. Big pieces of Lobster and of course, a margarita with the Taco's. Mal and Staff were wonderful as always. Whenever we visit, we make new friends and meet fun people.

We have been going to the soggy for the past 7 years . This visit was our last. We have watched it go down hill since losing their amazing crew a few years ago. This last visit we stopped in during the day time . There were 11 people sitting at the bar chatting and laughing . The owner Mal... More

Stopped for Monday lobster tacos. Got there at noon since we read to get there early. The kitchen didn't open until 1. The lobster was deep fried and came with other fish and shrimp. It was is a tortilla and not a taco

The Soggy Peso is such a jewel! You feel if it is in someone's backyard! Small bar and your main meal is whatever they are cooking that day. This time it was hot wings. They were very meat drumettes, spices were great! But the best were the margaritas that Rodrigo was making! They shut you off at 3 there are... More

Drinks always good. Wife got the Marg and couldn't finish it. Not that is was bad, because it tasted amazing; just a lot of alcohol. We also ran into a fun group from up north! Cool place :)

Saturday is evidently shrimp taco day. When I asked for a menu, the silent waitress pointed to a sign on the table that said shrimp tacos. I guess thats all they serve today?

Not sure what's up with some of these reviews. But Mal was one of the first people my husband and I met on our first trip to island as after we checked in to our hotel this was our first stop. WE sat and talked with him and he was awesome. Having never been to Isla before he gave us... More

Loved this place. There are hats and banners and other interesting items hanging from the palapa ceiling above the bar. It was fun to look around for familiar items. The margaritas were to die for (careful tho, potent), lobster tacos were great and we met some fun people. It's worth a stop for a beverage and lunch!

Visited the Soggy Peso while on vacation in Isla Mujeres. Made a wrong turn and ended up coming up the back stairs. Creepy old man (owner) starts yelling at me and my kids, accusing us of trying to "sneek in." Saw him berate another group for being too large. Go elsewhere as life is too short to deal with nutjobs... More
