Lovely view of the hotel Americano different floors from inside. The food from the region - porks/turkeys with different cooking styles - was superb!

My partner and I have eaten here on several occasions and have enjoyed the food and the service. Although the restaurant is clearly on the tourist map, every time we've eaten there the restaurant was filled with Mexicans. There are more sophisticated and fancier restaurants...More

Excellent service and Mayan cuisine with each dish made especially by a local (mostly female) who specializes in the dish. Very reasonably priced. This is MAYAN food - don't expect burritos and quesidillos! Think lime soup (broth based soup made with chicken), roasted grilled pork,...More

The service is excellent, all the people were very friendly and professional, the food is awesome, a large variety of options, and very good explanation from the waiters about the typical food from Yucatán Peninsula.

This is the most well-known traditional Yucatán cuisine establishment in the city, that has been around for many years. More recently the quality has suffered a little, since it attracts large groups for meals and they cannot keep up with the necessary quality that they...More

I had the black turkey dish, and the supa de lima. It was very good. It was nicely priced as well. The service was good and it had free wifi

Slow but nice service. Traditional pork meals were ok / good. For dessert the "poor cowboy something" (lost in translation) was delicious. Had it other places, but it this was the best. Limited bar. Reasonable prices.

We ate here twice, and everyone else appeared to be local. The food was very good and they had a good crowd for lunch. I wouldn't recommend Los Almendros for dinner as there were not many patrons and we felt rushed by the wait staff....More

Definitly, yes, this is a traditional and excelent mayan-yucatecan food restaurant. Prices are fair, the ambiance is very typical and the staff frienly. Menu is big but not to miss Cochinita Pibil, Panuchos or the Poc-Chuc. Try the papaya dessert at the end.
