The music was so loud that we had to go into a smaller isolated room just so we could hear each other. And then came the "botanas", a real displeasure, chopped wieners, ughhh. Nothing to speak of. We had a couple of shrimp dishes that were ok, and the service too.

Beers are always 2 for 1, and the selection of botanos is better than any cantina we have found. Live music every day we were there. Have a couple beers and botanas take care of dinner on those days where you just want to chill.

We love hanging there with friends sipping on beerz and being served all sorts of tapas... they don't charge you for the tapas, but the beers are more expensive.... they often have a band there... some better than others... all in all, always a lively experience....

My mother lives in Merida and we come visit ever year or so. And EVERY TIME WE HAVE TO GO TO ELADIOS! Good drinks, great food, good prices and great service. And it hasn't changed in 30 years. What's not to love? Don't even bother wi the menu (although we've heard its good) just enjoy the free botana, which is... More

Eladios has a prime spot on the beach at Progreso, a sleepy fishing village and port of call for carnival cruise ships twice a week.. It's a branch of Eladio's Merida. I know the Progreso version well because I try to go there every time I have a visitor and in between times when I feel like a treat. Last... More

Eladios in Garcia Gineres - good food, excellent botanis, reasonable prices. Parking is a problem and the noise level inside can be a little bothersome if you are trying to have a conversation and it's a busy time. Not pen late.

Eladio's is a fun place to sit, have drinks and eat wonderful food. First, when you enter, there are at least half a dozen waiters flagging you to their tables. You may want to be near the band, a tv, under a fan, or you see the perfect spot for you and your party. Beers start at around $40 MXN,... More

They many Eladio's but the one I went they had a band playing, was fun and the service was very good, and in Merida when you drink bear they send to your table free food, so more beer more food so was fantastic. This type of service is called "botanas".

This is a small local chain, and we went to the one on the Progreso beach. Sure, it looks like a spring break spot, and maybe it is, but the place is run very well and has probably the best beach views. We ordered the whole fried fish, the first time I ever summoned the nerve, and what do you... More
