Returning from the main square we came upon La Bierhaus. Having lived in Germany fro 6 years, we decided to try. Good food, beer and atmosphere.

We had been traveling throughout Mexico for 10 days so this bierhaus sounded intriguing. It was actually very good. The portions were huge and the food tasty. We were there for a late lunch and the only ones in the dining area. The staff turned on the air conditioning just for us which was so thoughtful. The beer list is... More

When we first opened the menu we were disappointed by the lack of local craft beer. All the big names were here (Corona, Modelo, Dos Equis) but nothing local. You can get those beers back at home! The secret here is to ask the waiter about the cerveza artesenal. They have beers from all over Mexico including local stuff like... More

We asked twice what was with my order. My guest already finished his dinner, it was just after 8PM. Then they just simply told me my order is not coming because they have forgotten about it!!!! I have never ever experienced anything close to this in my life. Felt like I was there to pay dinner for my guest leave... More

If you are looking for something not very fancy to eat and you are near the cathedral this is a good place to go. You can eat some German food. The portions are big and the food is good. The staff is friendly. Beer and food are cheap. Around 20 pesos per beer and around 100 pesos per dish.

Great food and beers. I loved the food in this and the service too. There is plenty of space at te outdoors, but if you're looking for a place to have a quite and private dinner you can ask for a place at the indoors.

We like to eat on the wooden benches in the open courtyard, but they have indoor seating as well. They have quite a selection of German foods, such as various sausages, schnitzel and thin, crispy crust pizza. There are various selection of German bottled beers, but the draft beers are mostly Modelo varieties. The service is adequate, but not overly... More

It's solid food. Not spot on German, but good just the same. Portions are huge. The pretzel was okay.

We like to go there from time to time... lots of German beers, and the sausages are good... me, being a German, find it hilarious seeing Mexicans dressed as Bavarians... but what the heck, the beer is good, and that's all that matters...

Good old school beerhouse that always serves up good draft beer. There is a good selection of local beers to drink and the barmen know their beers well. Great place for large crowds that can be a little rowdy! Good food served up to ensure you are always thirsty!
