Under new owners for two years specializing in Mediterranean cuisine but also Mexican. Super breakfasts especially huevos motullanas. Great pita sandwiches. Small and intimate and half block from bustling Sta Lucia Park

We liked the old Cafe Club, which no longer exists, but the good news is that it is even better with its new name, Pita, with a young and professionally trained Israeli owner/chef. See separate reviews for Pita. Here, I'll only say: Best pita bread I've ever tasted, and the best hummus ever! Chef Aviv has very high standards for... More

Delicious and well-prepared breakfast. We especially liked the Huevos Poblanos! Staff is friendly and skilled. Coffee is delicious.

Convenient, small place with both indoor and patio seating. Service is friendly, but if it is busy don't expect to get out of there in a hurry. There is a nice range of breakfast foods, from Yucatecan dishes to fruit and yogurt ( my favorite!). OJ was fresh and sweet. They even put together a torta for my husband (... More

This was a decent spot to grab breakfast across from Luz En Yucatan (the best hotel ever, by the way). It has several options for a Yucatecan breakfast as well as some more familiar menu options. The prices are alright but the food was just so-so. The service is a bit slow so go early if you want to get... More

My partner and I renovated a home in Merida and stayed at Luz in Yucatan and ate here often. We have been eating here since 2008 and never had a bad experience. Manoush, the owner, is very courteous and always speaks with us. The food and service are consistently good. Our favorite breakfast and lunch spot In Merida.

This place was so good we ate there nearly every day during our stay in Merida. Both breakfast & lunch were outstanding. Manoush & our server Alejandro were as charming as they were professional.

We were staying just across the street but would have walked father just to eat there every day. The owner and staff were very accommodating and the food was excellent --- most of the egg dishes were Yucatan style and very good. The portions were so generous that we started splitting an order of eggs. They also had excellent coffee,... More

My husband and I ate breakfast here our last day in Merida. We were staying at the Casa Del Balam which is a short walk around the corner. The food here was excellant, the portions generous. We felt like we had found a hidden gem. The restaurant is small but we did not have to wait for a table. Definitely... More
