Enjoyed the whole experience..from the local musicians to the great food, cocktails, beach and the bill!! Fresh food and well priced..lots of locals, which was a good sign!! Thoroughly enjoyed the garlic fish.

We had the fish filet with garlic and the shrimps in mustard sauce both of which were really good. The place doesn't look that great from the outside BT don't let that fool you. Also the view is great.

Today we stopped to rent chairs and to eat, we paid with 500 pesos. Four hours later, the lead guy over the rental of chairs came up to us and said we paid with a fake 500 pesos, which we had gotten from a certified...More

La Tarraya has been a beachfront place since 1968, whit a great view with palms of the Caribbean sea. It is a delicious seafood menu, the plates are small which can allow you to try several different things, you can enjoy it, and the the...More

Definitely not the best food I've had, but for the price, it's pretty good. You could probably eat some fries or guacamole to start, chicken & salad and a drink for about 100 pesos. If you get fish probably 150 or so. It's so damn...More

A large group of us went for lunch at La Tarraya and it was really good. Food was delicious and fair priced, service was good, and the location was excellent. The salsa they gave to dip tortillas with was extremely tasty and hot! The one...More

Eat here on every trip. Place has been around a long time. Prices are phenomenal for a beach restaurant! The tacos de pescada are fantastic! Anybody who gives this place a bad review was obviously part of the problem and no doubt a Trump supporter!

What's not to like about a very affordable, good food restaurant on the beach in Playa del Carmen? We've been during the afternoon and in the evening, near closing time. More crowded in the afternoon with people from the beach, less crowded in the evening....More

Felipe is the best waiter. We always enjoy dining here when we are on vacation in Playa del Carmen. Be patient because sometimes it's a long wait for service and they did not have guacamole when we were there. We usually have a whole fish...More

The grouper with garlic and butter for 90 pesos can't be beat anywhere. Service was good, portions are huge , drinks are large and excellent, and the location is right on the beach (feet in the sand if you choose). A great value.
