We order the fresh fish of the day and the grilled shrimp but our waiter return to tell us that they had run out of both items. We decided to stay and order other items from the menu and we were not disappointed. The food was fresh and cooked perfectly.

This place was a good choice for local seafood. I would definitely go back. It is less expensive than the restaurants on 5th Avenue.

The guacamole was good. I had chicken tacos. As with everywhere in playa, the chicken was in lots of fat. My boyfriend had the garlic shrimp and loved them.

We had dinner for 4 there last week while we were staying in Mayakoba for the week. I was a little tired of traditional Mexican fare so I had the ribeye steak which was outstanding. My wife had the whole red snapper and it was a big disappointment. It was very under-seasoned....almost no flavor. The octopus appetizer was good but... More

I love this place. Bright. Fresh. Good food. Reasonable prices. Seafood is a specialty, in a variety of selections. A local recommended the Brochetta de Cam Y Filete (grilled fish skewer) and it is now the new favorite. Very convenient on the corner of Calle 4 and 10th avenue. You can't miss the bright blue on the building.

Our group of 10 enjoyed a fabulous meal recently (Feb 2016). All of the seafood was fresh and delicious. This restaurant never fails us and the atmosphere was further enhanced by a local street performer who kept us entertained. A lovely evening.

My wife and I had dinner here one evening while staying at the Fairmont Mayakoba. Las Brisas is Fairmont Mayakoba's oceanfront restaurant and captures the charm, color and energy of the Riviera Maya. The menu features a Latin-coastal concept. We ordered their Valentine's four coarse dinner. The tuna appetizer was great. We enjoyed their mushroom soup. The Rib eye was... More

We bought the fish fillet for two persons. The good thing that day, I was not hungry. The fish fillet was Just enough for my wife. The 8 small shrimps were good, but to few. We left the restaurant hungry. Also they charge you 15 % on top without telling you.

We visit Playa del Carmen fairly often and have several favorite restaurants we always go to, but we also make ourselves try at least one different place on each visit. On this visit we had dinner at Las Brisas. We ordered two entrees to share, grilled octopus and grilled fish fillet. Both entrees were really good, I favored the octopus,... More
