Wah Wah Beach Bar is located close to the Cozumel Ferry station (Southern port) and Parque Fundadores (Founders Park) where the bronze 'Portal Maya' statue stands erect. The powder white sandy beaches and Caribbean feed Gulf waters are right at your feet. The chairs & umbrellas are free of charge if you eat and drink off their menu. They also... More

My wife and I heard about the Wah Wah beach bar and decided to take a visit on a Sunday after walking/shopping in PDC. The waiter brought us an ice bucket to keep the beers cold and the margaritas were superb. We would definitely return. They had a band playing late Sunday afternoon that had the crowd going and were... More

We visited Wah Wah Beach Bar as the last stop of our snorkeling shore excursion on our most recent cruise. We had a variety of Mexican food served buffet style and all of it was fantastic. Our tour included two drinks with the food, and they were good as well. No skimping on the alcohol. We didn't interact much with... More

We visited Wah Wah to meet up with some friends and had a great time. The prices were good and not over priced. There was 4 of us and we had 2 buckets of beer and 2 cocktails each which came to $1000 (£40) so was £10 each we thought this was amazing value. We would defiantly visit this place... More

We stopped in for an appetizer and drinks a couple times during our week long stay in PDC and both occasions were very pleasant. On our first visit, it was before noon and they were pretty slow and the manager came over and introduced himself and talked to us for a while, which I thought was nice. It was a... More

We stayed at the Iberostar Quetzal in May 2016. Went to Wah Wah 3 times during this stay. Music on the beach all the afternoons was what brought us back. Last visit that week we had 4 other couples from resort join us and they definitely will return. Best fish tacos and ice cold beer on the beach.

Wah wah beach bar is a great bar with the entrance hidden at the bottom of 2nd Street on the right hand side. Having lived in Playa for a while I had been keen to check this place out. They have great live music and the food is a tasty selection of texmex. Drinks are reasonably priced and the beer... More

I wanted to chill out on my first day before heading off through Mexico. I sat on one of the sunbeds outside the bar. I sat undisturbed and could order drinks and food as necessary without feeling under pressure. It was exactly what I needed. A band played in the afternoon which was good but a little intrusive but not... More

The three of us stopped in based on the recommendation of locals. We found friendly service, our waiter moved the table to where we wanted it, and really good food. There was a neat view of the beach and the Caribbean below us. The drinks were two for one and the nachos large enough to feed three people. We had... More

Our stop at the Wah Wah beach bar was included in a shore excursion that was purchased through Carnival cruise lines and operated by Cancun Adventures. We had a buffet lunch and 2 drinks. The meal was delicious and included fixings for beef or pulled pork tacos. Will stop here again if ever in Playa del Carmen again.
