Waiter who talked to us on the street was very friendly. Unfortunately that was as good as it got. We were the only customers (which should have given me a clue to move on). Drinks were much more expensive than we were told, fajitas were ok. Just not a great experience and we won't be back.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences to try!!! Food ok at best but in total agreement with the other reviews that their is too much management and staff corruption when it comes to the bill. We had a group of 10 and was appalled when the bill was over 5200 pesos when 3 meals were chimichangas for 110 pesos each... More

Our bill was absolutely NOT what we expected based on the menu prices. After we finished eating our mediocre food and were presented the bill, the argument ensued. THEN we were informed they would not accept credit cards. We felt cheated and angry. When we asked for a manager, he shrugged.

Last night my husband, son and gf were back from a long snorkel and scooter excursion at Cozemel. We cleaned up and hit 5 ave. We were tired and hungry... Let me tell you there are several restaurants running up and down the avenue. We have been lucky the whole time we've been here with restaurants. My family uses this... More

We went to la frontera on 19th may during our 2 week holiday to playa del Carmen. I ordered t-bone and hubby ordered chicken enchiladas, we had 3 local bottled beers each. My t-bone was very very rare when I had ordered it medium. My meal was taken away and cooked further but when it was returned to me the... More

I'm glad I read the reviews for this place as I sat down. So, food and atmosphere first. Nice location overlooking the street, it was quiet, I was there alone and one other couple was dining at about 7:30 at night. I had a mojito which was excellent and a chimichanga which was again very good. I have a feeling... More

We stopped in here after getting of the ferry from Cozumel. It was late 11 PM and we were hungry. Went in and had the seafood platter for two and two drinks (Caipirinha's). Drinks were great and the food real good not outstanding. The service was good, no complaints, bathrooms clean. Price was what I thought I would pay in... More

We were flagged by the guy out front to come to this restaurant, looked over the menu seemed okay so we went upstairs. One of us ordered (tried to) the tacos de carne and was told there was no beef for tacos, but offered a rib eye instead..I ordered the spaghetti bolognesa and was highly disappointed; tired of the usual... We started off with fish tacos and and shrimp stuffed avocados. The tacos were good but the avocado dish was a bit too sweet for us. For our main meal we shared a delicious seafood platter which contained lobster, crab, scallops, and whole fish paired with rice and vegetables. Definitely a good choice. The service was excellent. The only reason... More

We all ordered Mexican dishes and food was very delicious and hot (no issues like other reviewers had). But the bill was 30% higher then the prices listed in the menu. Because of that 3 stars. I personally wouldn't go back to the dishonest business. Also it was very hot in the restaurant.
