Really liked this place. It's a casual setting right on the beach. Seemed sketchy to order ceviche on a hot day, with a kitchen out in the elements, but it was so good.

A group of 10 of us walked down from Casa Yardena for lunch. Had read a lot about the place, and most was positive, but still didn't know what to expect. It was a pretty large dining area along the beach with plastic chairs and...More

This beach restaurant is off the highway and faces Soliman Bay about 20 minutes. Plastic chairs and hammocks on the beach with the best ceviche (huge portions) and shrimp cocktails. Unique experience with mostly locals eating lunch when we were there.

First off this is an idyllic and peaceful place. We pulled two lounge chairs into the shade and grabbed a table and chairs for our lunch. These were ours for the day. It was at the front of the beach and we had an unobstructed...More

You know it's going to be good when they are cooking over an open fire and squeezing limes out back. We walked down from the house we were renting and got some ceviche and margaritas. I could eat that meal every day and be happy!!!...More

The simplicity of our meal was matched with uncompromising flavor and authenticity. The fish was a fried local white fish, Tulums 'grouper' served Whole and fried. The ceviche was a 2 Person portion and is well known to be the best ceviche around - oh...More

Not sure if it was the color of our skin (white) or what, but we were met with stares and rudeness. We walked about a mile down the beach to get there from where we were staying and as soon as we walked up, they...More

We were there yesterday, it's not a crowded place, the food is super yummy, but above all, the beach is amazing, my son and us could seem almost 100 meters into the sea and we could see many sorts of fishes and baby stingrays, it...More

Definitely off the beaten path and well worth the trip. This is a 'picnic' paradise with the Chamico's food truck and kitchen set up on the beach. The ceviche and guac was amazing. Super low key and chill and the price was extremely low. Service...More

Excellent ceviche! Loved the casual open air setting on the beach. We also had arrachera, nicely cooked and great flavor!

All I know is that it is not open at night. I believe they stop serving about 5. Look up their website, info should be there. It is really a fun place do not miss it.

At a beach joint like Chamicos, bring cash. I bought 2 awesome live lobsters from some fisherman delivering conch meat to the restaurant. Delicious on the grill that night!

I just wanted to add to those who mentioned turning on the road opposite Oscar y Lalo on 307. It will be a dirt road with nothing but jungle/swamp on both sides for several minutes. Do not be deterred! You will eventually... More
