If you only eat one thing when visiting Tulum, this should be it. Five days in the Tulum area and this was our best meal hands down. Tacos (pork, chicken, steak), empinadas, and sope--all incredibly delicious. After multiple nights of "gourmet" hotel food, this was what we were hoping to eat in Mexico. The prices are insanely cheap--you can have... More

What can I say? You want a great street tacos for almost no money? Then, GO THERE!!! And since this stupid robot insists I use at least a hundred words, there, that should do it.

I consider myself a foodie and when I headed to the Yucatan my goal was to find the most authentic, flavourful, local cuisine I could. THIS IS IT!!! Tacos cost 10 pesos, only 7 without queso, and tortas are a mere 20 pesos (this is .50 and $1 USD). The food here, in terms of quality/taste/presentation, dwarfs that of even... More

Had dinner here and it was fantastic. The price was unreal a pastor taco cost 7 pecos. If you want to eat where the locals eat this is where you want to go. We tried a little bit of everything I really liked the tapas

Decided to visit this place for dinner since it has one of the largest number of reviews for restaurants in Tulum. Plus it came highly rated. Many kinds of snacks or antojitos are available here - beef, pork or pollo. There is ONE vegetarian option. Without knowing Spanish, we ordered a couple of items at random, both very good. The... Tacos so good you'll cry at prices so cheap you'll laugh! So good we ate here two nights in a row. We actually came back the following afternoon to have it for lunch, but they're closed in the day. Tacos al pastor con queso (with cheese) was by far the best!

We both got Tacos al Pastor and they were really good. We should have bought more, but we didn't know if we would really like this. Fun to watch them prepare the spit pork....very cheap and good dinner. Busy place.

Cool place if you are after simple tacos for dinner. The price is right too! My family of five ate here for less than $25 US. Friendly service in somewhat of a jammed environment. Lots of locals and gringos combined.

A friend recommended this very local restaurant, and for good reason. The simple, authentic fare was delicious and prices super cheap (40 cent tacos!). I second the previous reviewer to be wary of the orange salsa- its HOT! And BYOB (there's a bar kitty corner across the street that served me margaritas in a to-go cup) and water- the restaurant... The house specialty are the tacos al pastor. Be very careful with the red sauce, it is very very spicy. This is the place for a cheap but honest meal.
