We went here on the recommendation of friends. Seen it many times … never made it in. What a mistake!! Excellent and really super nice service. The burger was super. The Reuben even more!!! And … also a really nice place to by some reasonable...wine from a wide selection as retail. We will be back …More
Dear Christy offered a smile, superb service and great suggestions for a fine dining experience. My son had a local tenderloin special and I had a lobster/shrimp risotto that was scrumptious. We paired our selection with a Pouilly-Fuisse 2019 an excellent sample of old world...Chardonnay of course! Could finish it; but, had to buy it at 20% discount and corked it to drive to hotel. Highly recommend it.More
One side of the restaurant is a diner with breakfast and lunch and the other side is a small restaurant serving wine and local foods for the evening. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and the service. The trout was delicious but the preparation...using a panko and almond coating was a little heavy. The price was a little high given the venue but still an enjoyable evening. Recommended by the concierge.More
Great time and good food. Lots of regulars park here. We loved breakfast and came back for dinner same day. Found out, we are not the only ones that frequent multiple visits in the same day. Staff is very nice and welcoming. If you are...looking for a local feel, this is your place to dine. Huge portions. Split if you are not super hungry, you’ve been warned!!More
Our first time at the Northside KItchen. My wife and I had short rib and gnocchi w/ short rib. Both were delicious. The service was excellent and our waitress, Shasha, was on the top of her game. Enjoyed meeting and chatting with Steve, a fellow...Newporter and Red Sox fan. Bonus was watching the Red Sox crush the Astros in the ALCS. Highly recommend Northside Kitchen for a date night.More
As you drive-through an Exxon station to get to the restaurant you might have have 2nd thoughts. But don't!!!!! Go in and you will have one of the most fabulous dining experiences you've ever had. From the host, to the owner, to the staff, to...the chefs, to fare, to the wine selection everything exceeded our expectations. This was an intimate setting with fresh made from scratch selections. Our table of four experienced pesto gnocchi with short rib, lobster shrimp risotto, ox tail and elk bolgnese, and demi sauce filet mignon. Melt in your mouth, tongue tingling flavors made our evening so memorable. Do not miss this experience.....wowMore
The linguini Alfredo with added short rib as recommended by our awesome server Zeke was outrageously good- glad I hiked earlier to offset this calorie bomb. We look forward to coming back to try other items.
We had our meal to go and enjoyed it. The trout was good, probably would have been better "fresh" in the restaurant. The lobster Colorado (steak and lobster) was good as well. Not fancy but very good meal.
