We stopped here on a walk from Abereiddi. Three of us had the haddock and chips (seniors' special) - delicious fresh fish in a light batter and a good plateful. The other member of the group had soupe de Poisson which was very good. Very friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and very reasonable - our fish and chips was only £7.

We have eaten at The Shed many times over many years and reviewed it on tripadvisor previously. For me The Shed remains one of the best restaurants on the Pembrokeshire peninsular. If you're in the St David's area and like good quality fresh fish then The Shed is a must. The range of fish is good, high quality, fresh, cooked... More

Unique experience in a stunning setting. The staff were very friendly and happy to share banter with 5 hungover adult boisterous males. Well worth a visit.

We were recommended to go to The Shed in Porthgain. They have got to be the best fish and chips ever. the whole atmosphere was just right, the staff could not of been any more friendly. Probably best to book as it gets really busy in the evening, we went beginning of November and it was busy, but NOT over... More

Porthgain is a very interesting place. Once a hive of industry, the remnants of the slate quarries are all around and a walk over the top to Abereiddy's Blue Lagoon is recommended. And if visiting, particularly during the winter months - what better way to finish off then a plate of beer battered cod and chips and a cuppa? The... More

Have visited here with my family a few times and have not been disappointed. Staff have always been accommodated as it is always busy - recommended to book to make sure you get a place. Lovely area also, as you get to have a walk around the coast to walk off the food. Portions are big and very filling. But... More

Stopped off for lunch during the half term. Place was packed which is always a good sign. Staff very accommodating and gave us a reserved table as long as we were away in an hour and a half which was ample for our needs. Fish was fantastic - fresh, lightly battered and spot on. Chips were great - even simple... More

An unusual looking restaurant, comforable and offering the widest range of fish I have ever experienced also steak and vegetarian alternatives. The fish was large, fresh and beautifuly cooked, the batter being both crisp and thin, in combination with excellent chips and washed down with a lovely draft beer it made an excellent meal. The dessert by comparison was disappointing.
