I was GRANDPAcking in Zipolite for 6 weeks. I tried many of the restaurants and bars around town in that time. I ended up eating here on 3 occasions. The first time I ordered the most expensive salad on the menu for MXP90: it was pathetic ... a couple of lettuce leaves, some shredded beatroot, etc and a small piece... More

Warm and cozy restaurant with delicious food. Lots of vegetarian options, too! Loved it and look forward to returning during my next visit.

Four of us went for dinner. The starter was different....super thin "pita" with (?)pesto and walnuts. Good but not what I was expecting...thinness I think.... Main was fish for three and seafood pasta for one. Excellent and PERFECTLY cooked. Cocoanut ice cream for dessert, with a bit of pineapple in....yum! Excellent service. Very nice place. Cozy place small place. Nice servant that speaks Spanish only (normal in Zipolite). The prizes are fair. The food is Italian and mainly pasta. Contrary to other places in Zipolite they have a selection of wine and the restaurant also work as a wine shop. If you go for one of the many pasta dishes go for the homemade fresh... More

We went in for two plates of pasta. They took 40 minutes to come and it was only half full. Plus most people eating pasta. The vegetarian was very bland - like no flavour (do not order!), pesto spaghetti was better. However the restaurant is extremely hot as it has a thick thatched roof on and given its 30 degrees... This restaurant is just around the corner from the main road. It's probably one of the most attractive in the area. We were immediately drawn to it. We all chose the lasagna which was very good. The service was also excellent. I would highly recommend it.

Our friends took us here for a birthday dinner otherwise we may not have thought to try it. Great pasta dishes and the bruschetta was to die for. My wife and I came back two different evenings especially for the bruschetta. Only open from 5:30-11:00, Tuesday to Saturday. Great value for meals.
