We picked this restaurant because we heard the view of the church was amazing and it didn’t disappoint. We were seated on the patio looking directly over the church. The evening was cool but they have heaters and blankets and they made sure the wives were warm. The portions are big and the food was very good. We had the Caesar Salad and it was delicious. We also had their garden salad and their homemade dressing was fantastic. Then the 4 of us split 2 big steaks that were cooked perfectly and served on a sizzling plate. We were stuffed but wanted to see the dessert plater. They all looked good but ended up passing. The atmosphere is very lively and the music created a great vibe. It’s worth going here when in SMA!

It's one of the richest places I've ever visited. On arrival we had a mishap with the Reservation, as it was delayed 30 min and no one knew how to give us a solution. Then they fixed it and offered us a table in a phenomenal location!! In the matter of food we give huge congratulations to Chef Alejandro Maldonado really made us very happy with the quality of his food and seasoning !! 👌🏻 in terms of the service of the staff all very attentive, our waiter Manuel attention to the perfect diner and the recommendations he gave us right .... and in terms of drinks , the Mixologist Mauricio recommended spectacular cocktails!! This is one of our new favorite places!!!

We ate steak eye and pasta The terrace is pleasant, however before sunset it is likely that you will have too much sun, the staff does their best to help by improvising with hanging fabrics. They should invest in putting something fixed and aesthetic that would cover the sun. If I went again it would be after sunset, otherwise bring enough sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat When we gave the bill they charged extra for a wine and a soda, I wouldn't mention it if it weren't for the fact that I heard earlier that the table next to us said that they were charging them for something they didn't consume. There are 350 restaurants in San Miguel. Almost all good to very good. Sollano 18 takes an 8PM reservation and when we arrived the manager told us they are closing at 8:30 and all service stops. That was bad enough but smug and arrogant in his attitude was enough to generate a few expletives. Many choices avoid Sollano.

Since we arrived the service and attention were terrible, it took 20 min to drink our drinks. We ordered a bottle of wine, they didn’t have even half their letter in stock, they served it and after that they didn’t go to serve us again and I had to serve my whole family. By the time we ordered dinner they never took spoons to serve the accompaniments, no sauces, bread, salt, nothing... when ordering it took up to 30min to take it. We finished dinner 10pm at that time they were raising the table and wanting to order dessert and something else to take their answer was “it has closed kitchen and bar and it is difficult that we can bring them even a beer” We asked to talk to the manager, literally 20 min passed and we didn't get any response because we hadn't been notified that everything was closed by 10pm, until I beckoned someone in a suit and after 5min he listened to me... of course he excused that the waiters are new, that no one told him that we wanted to talk to him, but 5min before I talked to him we saw that he was serving alcohol, food and dessert to other tables... Fabulous in every way

Sollano 18 is FABULOUS Highly recommend not missing this Restaurant and reserve in advance. The view is amazing as it’s the closest rooftop view of La Peroquia church. Amazing view complimented by an extensive menu and impeccable service. The center cut ribeye is fabulous but presentation is even better. We also enjoyed the mushroom risotto, best we’ve ever had. Side of corn is delicious and they even add fresh truffle which was great and free of charge for the add on. Our server Jorge B was fun, and he and the team provided a seamless dining experience. Huge compliments for the impeccable service, you are truly transported to a “live in the here and now” moment. The music is perfect for young hip or well tuned high end crowd. This is a real gem, and will likely be your best meal in San Miguel De Allende so don’t sleep on this one.

The meal was very good. The menu did a great job at showing a far wider variety of options than other restaurants up until this point. There is an amazing view to add to the dinner and I would highly recommend coming over.

Staying across the street, I stopped in one afternoon just for a cocktail. I found the greatest nighttime view of San Miguel paired with the best steaks, accompaniments, wine and dessert in town. For the quality of everything the food and wine was fairly priced. No doubt my dinner choice when back in town.

1 - A terrible experience is just that We had a group of 14 I could get past the fact that several menu items were not available My wonderful Caesar Salad was put in front of me at the same time as my filet, not allowing me to really enjoy either Then I discover that well into our meat that the party at the other end (4 of our party) of our table has not yet received their entre was humiliating. The wait staff was great, the food was great; but the experience was terrible. Then they come back saying their internet was down and they could not process my payment. What a circus of errors and a terrible dinner experience. Except for the fact that I was paying for this experience, some things might have been excusable. By the way, the house manager did not appear to care in the least. We cancelled reservations for a large group latter in the week and we will never return.

A neighbor told us about this relatively new restaurant on Diez de Sollano, which is becoming a "restaurant row" in Central. The design is spectacular, with one of the best rooftop views in San Miguel. In addition, the service is incredibly good with friendly, attentive waiters. The specialties are a wide variety of tacos and steaks. They'll finish your steak at the table with flaming mescal. Quite a show! We've been there twice and recommend it highly. You can reserve on Open Table.

However: -We made Reservation in advance and we were given table 1 hour later. - we were given a table, in an area called the rooftop sky, where the view is good , but the service is very late because there are only 2 waiters that you were very attentive and friendly and as we saw them stressed we understood the situation. -the food is worth it, it's very rich.
