Either buy your coffee while blocking the ridiculously narrow sidewalk on Calle Sollano and take it to the Jardin to enjoy it or go inside weirdly through another unrelated restaurant if you can find the door. There is indoor seating and you can order beans or ground coffee to take home as well as a delicious pastry to have with... More

We are staying for a few months and like our coffee French Roast. we make our own pot in the morning and the best fresh roasted and ground coffee in SMdA is that sold at Cafe La Ventana. Absolutely the best in town. forget starbucks or the Mega Mearket, La Ventana is affordable and excellent.

I met recently a couple of friends here for coffee and hot chocolate. The service was very nice and pleasant, the interior is clean and both the hot chocolate and the coffee were good. A coffee lovers dream ... hmmm.... me think not ... but a nice place nevertheless. Nondescript in many ways.

I'm not a complete obsessive, but I like my coffee, and I like my coffee the way I make it. I was therefor overjoyed, a few years back, to discover that I could get a high quality bean, from a window in the center of town. The staff is friendly, the coffee is good, and you can also get a... More

Whether you order your coffee through the window directly on the sidewalk......and you'll be blocking pedestrian traffic to do so.....or if you find your way (not so easy if you don't know where you're going) into the tiny, dark, but cosy interior, you will be treated to the amazing aroma of roasted coffee beans and freshly-brewing coffee. I prefer to... More

Coffee is good (nothing excellent), however I found the price a little bit high. The place is different because you order over a window and doesn´t have a street entrance. However, there´s a service but you better ask the attendant the way in. This is a good place to grab a good coffee before walking around San Miguel de Allende.

This place is so small it doesn't even have a direct entrance onto the street, only a window for walk-up service. If you want to go in to buy bulk coffee, and you should, you have to go in through a multi-use space of some sort. But it's worth it. Mere steps from the Jardin, it couldn't be more convenient.... It is a very charming place with a great location. A nice ambiance with what must be the best coffee in town. Service is excellent and friendly. The main product is an amazing organic coffee from Chiapas.

La Ventana at Sollano 11 (Centro) is a coffee bar with a sidewalk walk-up window as well as inside sit down service. The cafe serves up rich and delicious coffee (espresso, latte, Americano, cappuchino, etc. etc.) from the State of Chiapas ground fresh each morning. This is a great place to sit indoors and sip or get a cup to... More
