Great Mexican food with a wonderful ambiance. Even if you only somewhat like Mexican fare, there is something for everyone. Very friendly, family owned restaurant.

I can always depend on El Rinconcito to furnish me with good Mexican food in a family setting. Got kids? My son says the Hamburgers are better than what you get in the US. Never disappointed; enjoy!
This is just a great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Friendly, well-prepared dishes, nothing fancy but very nice. It's always on the list of places I take friends to eat when I'm in SMA.
My husband and I have been enjoying El Rinconcito since we came to San Miguel in 2004. The food is wonderful, the ambience local and lovely, and the proprietors, Mercedes and Miguel, are wonderful hosts. We always take visiting guests here and they love it...More

Having become a regular in San Miguel I've had the opportunity to visit and revisit numerous restaurants. Oddly, it's not easy to find genuinely authentic Mexican food there, mostly because of the amount of foreign residents and visitors many of whom are reluctant to try...More
