Charlie's Rock has a great location right over the ocean. It's menu is pretty standard, and reasonably priced. The portions are large, especially from the ceviche. The entrees were good, if a bit underwhelming.
We stopped in for a beer and chips on our way home from the beach. It's always a treat to enjoy the view and do hand to hand with the marauding seagulls if you sit at the rail.
We were on a tour which went here for Lunch. The Shrimp cocktail was so good, that we returned for Dinner on our own. Don't miss it!
A lot of locals came here, all dressed up to celebrate Mother's Day. That should be all I need to say about the food annd mood. My husband and I showed up in swimsuits, I was barefoot! THIS PLACE is a MUST for every visitor...More
Fantastic view from the edge of the restaurant facing the ocean. Birds would literally float by you as we ate. Hated to leave. Food was excellent,waiters were nice though service was not the fastest. Men came through the restaurant to play their guitars and sing...More
Charlie's Rock gives you a spectacular front row seat for watching the pelicans dive and the dolphins play. The food is good and not expensive. We recommend the seafood dishes.
I've never been a fan of the food here, but the margaritas are good and the bird and dolphin sightings are often and thrilling-especially when the gulls grab your chips or anything else you leave lying around. I had the Boston shrimp which was good...More
